Two Aga Khan Academy Swimmers Selected For Commonwealth Games

Two AKAM swimmers will be taking part in the 3rd Common-wealth Youth Games at Pune in India.

In a rare occasion, two swimmers from the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa have been selected to represent the country in the 3rd Commonwealth Youth Games, to be held in India from Wednesday, October 15. Rachita Shah and Anham Salyani are among four girls who will carry the Kenyan national flag during the event scheduled to be held in Pune, India next week. The swimmers’ coach Mohamed Abdulaziz is optimistic that the girls will perform superbly. “The girls have really worked hard for this event and they will surely post excellent results,” commented the coach.
