BEST OUT OF WASTE - AKPS Grade 2 students compete and learn about recylcling.

Use your throw-away materials and recycle them was the theme of the Grade Two’s interclass competition, BEST OUT OF WASTE. Each student collected used items such as tins, straws, fabric, disposable plates, cereal boxes, buttons, beads, and string and put them together to create items that could be used such as musical instruments, pen holders and puppets.

With a hands-on approach the children have begun to appreciate not only just how much waste we all generate but that by recycling much of what we throw away, we can make products we can use and help our planet at the same time.
