The ski trip to France was an absolutely amazing experience. I am thankful to the school for giving me this opportunity to learn French, learn to ski and experience new things. I learnt a great deal during this trip, not only French. I was also exposed to a new and different world compared to our own. I never imagined I would ever be skiing on the Alps.

When you are put into a situation where you need to learn the language because it is the only way you can communicate, which is exactly what this trip to France provided, you tend to learn more effectively. I had the opportunity to be able to speak French often with the people in France. Unfortunately, in Tanzania I hardly ever communicate in French except during our French lessons at school. I feel more confident speaking French due to this trip.

Furthermore, skiing itself was a highlight of the trip and I enjoyed learning and attending the trainings daily. With the skiing I learnt how to cooperate with my colleagues and to help each other in one way or another. This trip brought me closer to my friends and I also made new friends.

I hope Mzizima can organise similar educational trips as I have gained tremendously from participating in this trip. I am sure other students will also benefit from trips of this kind. Although it was a ski-trip, the experience was educational and a lot of fun. This trip has helped me become more independent and less hesitant to undertake responsibilities.
Thank you Mr. Kubler, for organising such an amazing trip.
