Academy student attends Conference in Indonesia

 Naylee Nagda of the Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi has been involved in various environmental projects, which have been selected & recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme.

 Naylee Nagda of the Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi has been involved in various environmental projects, which have been selected & recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme.

She was invited to attend the TUNZA Children and Youth Environmental Conference in Bandung, Indonesia, where she met children from over ninety different countries and exchanged project ideas with them.

During the conference, the youth wrote down an agreement to international leaders, which will be presented in Rio 20+. The agreement outlines what actions they would like the governments to take and what the children of the world will contribute. She had an exciting experience and came back home with new ideas and knowledge.
