This year the 32nd Annual EAMUN conference was focused on seizing equal opportunities for all.

“Everyone has a chance.”

This year the 32nd Annual EAMUN conference was focused on seizing equal opportunities for all as well as encouraging the youth to broaden their imagination in order to come up with wild, exciting and memorable experiences shared through our stories.

In line with EAMUN’s aim to help students interact with one another, the programme launched a new incentive called #projectselfie; this gave the participants of EAMUN an excuse to start conversations with strangers and at the end of it take a selfie (picture) as a memory of the new friendship formed. #Projectselfie allowed participants to network with different people who may end up becoming business partners, future family and moreover lifelong friends.

The Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi was represented in all the EAMUN committees, i.e. Ecology, Political, Economic, Human Rights and Special Summit. The school was also represented in the Global Agenda Committee (GAC) as well as in the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The students showed exemplary skills during deliberations in different committees and in representing Libya, Venezuela and Bahrain.
