KALANUBHUTI is an inter-school art festival by Diamond Jubilee High School (ICSE). This unique initiative is an amalgamation of various forms of art. It's an occasion to foster camaraderie and collaboration between students of various schools, and to learn from one another. The goal is to honor brilliance and excellence in a creatively planned mega-event. At Kalanubhuti, the endeavor is to bring hopes, talents, dreams and aspirations to life.
The School puts up annual plays which are musical extravaganzas. There are two separate days and themes for primary and secondary sections. It’s a visual treat to see all the students participating and performing in such plays. The various plays that have been produced are The Jungle Book, The Wizard of Oz, Romeo & Juliet and Princess September.
The School also has the English Week, Tuck shops, SUPW Camps, Scout Camps and Inter-House Competitions for the secondary section.
Dress Up Time
The little toddlers dress up on themes like all about me, what we eat etc. They share stories about their costumes and showcase this to the class. Dress up is extremely vital as it not only helps the little ones to explore and imagine, but also nurtures their expression and confidence.
Dad & Me
Mothers are always acknowledged as the most important person in a child’s life. It’s time the fathers get their dues and recognition for they role they play in the child’s learning. This year the event saw a lot of fathers cooking yummy dishes with their children, playing games and exploring craft.
Some other events are: Handwashing Day, Music Day, The Land of Stories and Folk Tales, Grandparents Day etc.
