The Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi - Junior School

The Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi - Junior School, is an authorized PYP school offering the best in international education at a pleasant campus in the Parklands suburb of Nairobi.

The School accommodates approximately 350 students from international and multi-cultural communities. The School is open to all students and does not discriminate in admissions on nationality, ethnic origin or religion . It is operated by the Aga Khan Education Service, Kenya (AKES, K).

The Junior School offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate (IB). The focus of the programme, designed for students aged 3 to 12, is on the development of the whole child in the classroom and in the world, building on the philosophy of international-mindedness. It draws on research and best practices to create an engaging and challenging education programme for our student population.

The Junior School strives to create a harmonious balance between academic demands, sporting and cultural activities and community life. It challenges its students to be intellectually inquisitive and socially conscious.
