Introduction

The Aga Khan Diamond Jubilee High School, Pakora, is over 70 years old, having been established as a primary school in 1946. It was upgraded to a middle school in 1978, then to a high school in 1995.

The school serves almost 300 students, 46% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 16 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 10 classrooms. The school offers facilities such as a science laboratory.

The Aga Khan Diamond Jubilee High School, Pakora, teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Karakorum International University Education Board.

The school offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totaling 72 hours per year.


Admissions and Fees

Admissions take place from March through April.

For the admission process, we require:

  • Filled application form
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • School-leaving certificate of the previous school, if applicable
  • Attested copy of the computerized Form B or original birth certificate
  • Character certificate by the current / previous school, if applicable
  • Copy of the CNIC of one or both parents or guardian

The academic year starts on April 15th and ends on April 14th.

The monthly fee structure for the current academic year (for pre-primary, primary, middle and high) are as follows:

  • PP-I / Reception to Class V: Rs. 1,070
  • Class VI - VIII: Rs. 1,450
  • Class IX - X: Rs. 1,860
