Inter-class quiz competition

The 132^nd birth anniversary of Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah Aga Khan was celebrated by the students of class X by arranging a quiz competition among seven sections. An extensive material was compiled in the form of a booklet by a group of teachers which was given to the contestants a month before. A lot of excitement was evident on the quiz day as all respective classes exhibited full enthusiasm to support their representatives. Senior Manager Academics Ms Fauzia Khuhro was the chief guest.

Quiz master Rafiq Jindani asked questions in four rounds. These were Individual Round, Discussion Round, Rapid fire Round and audio visual Round.

Participants’ responses indicated the quality of their preparation and for the top three positions more questions were asked as it ended in a tie Ishfaq Hussain and Karim Pyar Ali Sr. III E (Class X) stood first followed by Hussain Nasiruddin and Alishah Allauddin Sr. III F and Aisha M. Farooq and Ariba Muzzafar Sr. III B for second and third positions respectively. Shields and certificates were awarded to the winners. The most encouraging gesture was the participation of ECD and Junior section students who in between the rounds entertained the audience with their aesthetic talents. Audience also participated in answering the questions on the same theme. The venue was displayed with the photo gallery and time-lines of his life history. It was a memorable event to pay gratitude to this great personality.
