Admissions
Enrolment Information
Admission is based on merit. Merit is determined by entrance examinations at Grades 1, 5 and 10. At Grade 1, the exam tests number skills, literacy and verbal reasoning and is followed by an interview. For entry into Grade 5, examination results from Grade 4 are used. At Grade 10, specific examinations are set depending on the prospective student's proposed course of study.
School Fees
The school fee for grade 1 - 9 is 59 Somoni and for grade 10 -11 is 62 Somoni per month.
Financial Aid
AKL employee is entitled to a 50% discount on tuition fees at AKL for one child.
Orphan students are entitled to a 60% discount on tuition fees.
Up to 15 percent of students enrolled are eligible for fee-exemptions based on their parent's financial status. Up to 28 Grade 10 and Grade 11 students from the GBAO districts receive full bursaries to study at the Aga Khan Lycée.
