Educational Philosophy
Education is a creative, joyful process that engenders hope and curiosity. The Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad strives to create an environment that inspires students in their learning and allows for the development of the whole person - mind, body and spirit.

The Academy offers student-centred teaching and learning environments designed to stimulate the joy of inquiry. Interactive education encourages students to ask questions, follow independent lines of inquiry and develop interest and expertise in a broad range of knowledge. Co-curricular programmes such as music, art and dance further enrich the curriculum.
Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities, like after-school sports and clubs, and programmes of community service play an important part in extending learning to less tangible qualities, such as self-esteem, self-confidence, teamwork, self-discipline and sociability. These are qualities that play an important part in the development of the students' value systems.
Learning Environment
The learning environment is designed to foster a sense of civic responsibility and service in addition to enhancing the students’ academic, analytical and independent learning skills.
The Academy community values diversity, and celebrates and engages with a range of cultures, religions, histories, languages and experiences. While supporting students in developing an understanding of global issues, the Academy’s educational programme also reflects great sensitivity to local languages, history, cultures and environment.
