The Campus

Conceived by a renowned architect, the Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad features a state-of-the art, purpose-built campus designed to be exceptional in its facilities as well as attractive, self-contained and secure, thus providing an optimal learning environment.

The campus was designed with significant attention to the surrounding natural environment as well as aesthetic considerations.

Classroom and Resource Facilities
The Academy’s campus includes all the physical spaces and resources required to enable its student body and staff to thrive intellectually and personally.

Classroom and resource facilities will include:

  • well-equipped laboratories for physics, biology, chemistry, home science and computers
  • state-of-the-art computing and classroom technology
  • fully equipped art and music rooms
  • a library and resource centre
  • a religion and culture room
  • a counseling facility
  • a design and technology workshop
  • student and teacher lounges
  • a theatre
  • a cafeteria and dining area.


In addition to the computer laboratories, the Academy is networked, and computers are a common resource for teachers and students.

Sports Facilities
Students at the Academy participate in regular competitive sporting activities and other outdoor pursuits that help them stay fit while developing a strong sense of teamwork and a commitment to doing one’s best in all areas.

Sports facilities will include a swimming pool; fields for cricket, football, hockey, and athletics; play areas and walking trails. The indoor gymnasium allows for a variety of sports such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, squash and gymnastics.

These facilities are intended to allow students to progress physically as well as intellectually and, in the process, build self-confidence, self-esteem and self-reliance.
