Faculty and Staff
The Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad identifies and recruits teachers of the highest calibre who are committed to the all-round development of young people as well as to their own professional growth as excellent teachers.
Talented faculty and staff members are a key part of achieving the Academy’s aimsFaculty members are well qualified, having at least a Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in interactive teaching environments. Through practice and personal example, all faculty and staff members promote an appreciation and understanding for other cultures, religions and traditions.
The teacher/ student ratio is excellent with one teacher for about every seven students. Through the Academy’s Professional Development Centre, teachers engage in professional development on an ongoing basis and share their experience with educators from neighbouring government, private and not-for-profit schools.
