While this site offers but a glimpse into all the wonderful things that take place here at the Academy, it is for us an opportunity to allow the world to witness the implementation of His Highness the Aga Khan’s unique vision for the Aga Khan Academies: redefining educational standards, identifying and recruiting students of promise and immense potential, and educating tomorrow’s leaders. The Aga Khan Academy Mombasa is the first of a planned 18 Academies, and as the first Academy, we are proud of our many achievements so far. Every day at the Academy, experienced teachers and the bright minds of Mombasa’s youth unite to learn about the world, about themselves, and the role each of them has in the development of a brighter future for Kenya and the globe. Our rigorous curriculum, enriched by a wide variety of co-curricular and community service opportunities, generates well-rounded students, life-long learners; curious, open-minded individuals dedicated to making a difference in their communities and the world at large.
