Admission Requirements & Forms
Junior School
Year 1 to Year 6: PYP Programme
Students entering year 1 should have completed at least three (3) years of Nursery School and must be six (6) years of age by December 31 st of the year of entry.
All prospective students must demonstrate a potential for high academic achievement and demonstrate competency in literacy and numeracy. Each applicant must sit a standard assessment in English and Mathematics, supplemented in some cases by personal interviews with key members of the Junior School staff.

Senior School
Year 7 to Year 9 (Form 3)
Year 10 (IGSCE)
All students applying for a place in Senior School must have attained high scholastic achievement in their former educational institutions and demonstrate a keen interest and participation in community service projects outside the classroom and/or extra-curricular activities such as sporting activities, clubs, arts and music.
All applicants must schedule an appointment for a standard assessment test in English and Mathematics at the school in addition to providing past student grade reports and certificates of achievement.

Diploma Programme
Year 12: IB Diploma Programme
Applicants into the IB Diploma Programme at the Aga Khan Academy , Mombasa , must have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements as well as a proven record of civic mindedness and participation in community projects.
The application process requires prospective students to undergo a standardized assessment test in English and Humanities as well as an interview with IB Diploma Programme coordinators.

No new student will be considered for admission in an examination year (i.e. years 11 for IGSCE and year 13 Diploma Programme 2)
