27 November 2009 - Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa Becomes one of only 12 Microsoft Mentor Schools in the World.

17 November 2009 - Peter McMurray, Head of AKA,Mombasa and member of the Academies Unit and Sher Lakhani, former Head of the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa are planning a visit to the US early in December.
