"The best aspect of AKS,D is that it allowed me the room to grow into the individual that I am. The teachers, the students and the administration all have a brilliant coordination which allows smooth day to day running of the institution. An AKS,D experience is something everyone should experience once in their lifetimes."

Admissions

Contact the Aga Khan School, DhakaProspective Playground Students Welcome, thank you for considering The Aga Khan School, Dhaka as the institution to provide an educational experience for your young person.

The Aga Khan School, Dhaka has a clear and straightforward admission selection process.  To ensure successful admission for your child, please read the admission package and follow the instructions with care.

Each year the number of available spaces for new students is limited. The only way for a student to be accepted into our school is through a successful admission examination and interview.  We do attempt to include young people from our host community and the siblings of students already attending the school.

Admission to the The Aga Khan School, Dhaka is a four step process. Please note that all timelines must be met. The admission process is transparent and fair. Any attempt to exercise “Influence” or make “Conditional Donations” will be refused.

The Application Process
Application for all classes is based on availability.  There are seventy two (72) places available each year for Playgroup which is our entry year.

Step 1
The admission package can be obtained from the Aga Khan School Senior building during the month of October.

Step 2
The completed application form must be returned to the School by the end of October. At this time you will be given an admit card.

Step 3
Admission to Playgroup, Nursery and Kindergarten is by interview only. When submitting the application form applicants will be assigned an interview date and time.

Step 4
For Classes One to Nine, an admission examination will be held, and the date will be given when the completed application is returned to school. Only students who meet the required standard in the written examinations will be interviewed for final selection.

For admission into the A level programme, only students who appeared for a minimum of seven subjects at O level in one sitting and have a C grade or above in subjects they wish to study, may apply.
