An Alumni Reunion took place in December and was very successful.
Standard IV's First Camp
For the first time, Standard IV students went for a two-day Adventure Camp at Vasai.
This camp was organised to challenge students to be resourceful and independent and to develop problem-solving skills. Students were able to explore the Park's grounds and enjoy slides, swings, swimming pool and football and volleyball pitch.
The first task for campers was to collect materials without harming nature. Students then pitched tents to rest for the night after the evening games. At sunset, students built a campfire and shared their experiences, sang and danced.
Day two began with Yoga, followed by a quick trek to a nearby village. For most, it was a new experience crossing rivers, streams, fields and observing animals. At the village, students met local people and had a glimpse of their lifestyle. They saw cattle sheds and villagers herding animals and growing vegetables. Students returned to the School grounds tired but happy.
Growing Together
During this year's inaugural "Growing Together Week", teachers shared expertise with their colleagues as part of the continuing professional development of teachers at the School. Topics such as "Multiple Intelligence", "Creative Writing" and "Multiple Use of Math Aid" were covered during the week-long affair.
