The training of teachers is a regular and on-going activity. Training programmes are customized to equip teachers with the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out their roles effectively. Training areas include school environment, student behavioural management, classroom management and pedagogy.

To measure performance, teacher's undergo formal performance appraisals at regular intervals.

The School has 45 trained teachers who have attended various national and international training programmes.

As part of the professional development for teachers, Aga Khan Education Service, India, is initiating a Professional Development Centre (PDC) in Mumbai. It will cater to teacher training needs, curriculum development, research in education and documentation of various process and practices in the network. The PDC will also reach out to various government organizations, non-government organizations and community-based organizations.
