Achievements

Our students participated in various co-curricular activities conducted by the Maharashtra Education Department & various NGO’s at ward level, District level& State level and brought glory to the school.

Students Achievements in Co-curricular Activities
a) Secondary School Certificate Examination
In the 2005 - 2006 State Level Secondary School Certificate Examination; the School secured an overall pass percentage of 98.85%. Ms. Umera Khan secured first place scoring 86.26%. Of the total 87 who appeared for the examination, 10 secured distinctions and 31 students secured first class.

b) Girl Band
The Diamond Jubilee High School For Girls Band won the top prize at the Republic Day Rally organised by Dongri Police Station and Siddhi Mohalla. They won First prize and 2 trophies & a cash prizes of Rs.10000/- & Rs. 500/-.

c) Drawing Competition
Ms. Zeba K. from Std X & Ms. Anam R. from Std VIII were the winners of Drawing competition at District level, organized By Girl Guide Association of India.

d) Times of India Group’s Competition
Student of the Year’ award of cash prize Rs.1001/-, a trophy and a Certificate was given to Ms. Yusra Barkat of Std IX in the month of April 06 by Times of India and Runners up were:
    1.  Rubina Memon form Std IX-B
    2.  Zikra Holu from std VIII-B and
    3.  Heena Rajkotia from Std VIII B

Teachers Achievement
Primary Teacher Ms. Florine D'souza bagged First place at the Mumbai District Level in Action Research project presentation competition conducted by Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research & Technology 2005-06. The title of the Project is "Integrating Social Studies and Using Innovative ways to Enrich Learning Experience for Std III with Reference to Social Studies".
