Curriculum
The Shishu Pahel Paddhati methodology of the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) is a well-researched system, developed by the School, which combines local needs and cultural expectations with best practices from international curricula.
"Save power, oil, gas and use only solar, bio-gas and wind energy" (Tarranum, VI C)The methodology emphasizes child-initiated learning that encourages children to plan and develop at their own pace. In this way, the child retains his/her natural self-confidence while being provided with opportunities for physical, emotional and social development.
The classrooms are specially designed to create spaces in which the child experiences the joys of reading, expression, mathematics, music, movement, water and sand play, arts and crafts.
At the primary level, teachers plan and design "Curriculum Webs" to ensure every topic in the curriculum is taught in its entirety and that it is correlated with other subjects.
At the secondary level, the Andhra Pradesh state-prescribed curriculum is taught using innovative methods and activities. Lessons at all levels are facilitated through an integrated curriculum and supplemented by a variety of co-curricular activities, field trips and class projects.
Students also participate in number of inter-school activities such as elocution competitions, debates, science exhibitions, creative writing and the arts.

Education Philosophy
The School believes that:
- Every child is potentially an independent thinker, with an infinite capacity to acquire knowledge,
- Given the space, children are capable of constructing activities that lead to effective learning outcomes,
- Child-centered education is the achievement of learning outcomes, wherein the pace and content of learning is directed by the child and supported by the facilitator (the teacher),
- Children learn most effectively through reflections shared with peers and facilitators and through group discussions.
