The Aga Khan Junior and Senior Schools are authorized to offer
the Primary Years and
Admissions to the Aga Khan Nursery School, Nairobi
Admission is based solely on merit and the School does not discriminate in admissions on nationality, race, tribe, ethnic origin or religion. Parents of students with non-Kenyan nationalities must show a valid residence permit, and obtain a student pass for their child to be enrolled at the School.
Please note, although the School does not offer a Special Needs Education Programme, individual cases may be discussed to plan the best course of intervention.
- Playgroup - Ages 2 to 3 years
- Kindergarten 1 - Ages 3 to 4 years
- Kindergarten 2 - Ages 4 to 5 years
- Kindergarten 3 - Ages 5 to 6 years
Prospective parents are advised and welcomed to visit the School. Children are placed in the appropriate age groups depending on their age. No interviews are conducted with children eligible for Playgroup class.
Prospective students are required to complete both a written admission test in addition to attending an interview.
The Aga Khan Nursery School offers Scholarships to recognize academic excellence to new or continuing students. These scholars must have other outstanding qualities in the areas of citizenship and character to benefit from an education at the school.
All scholarships are based on a demonstration of financial need. The number of scholarships and the amount will vary from one year to the next.
