Achievements

Junior AchievementsAt the Provincial Expo, students won the first overall position in the Coast Province.Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement in this school is a very strong and popular programme. The members have formed a company called YEAH - Young Entrepreneurs Aiming High. At the Provincial Expo, students won the first  overall position in the Coast Province.  They proceeded to participate in the National Expo in Nairobi where they won the Fadhia Award for the Best Financially Managed Company, the prestigious Kiongozi Award for the best CEO and an award for Marketing.

Science CongressDuring the 2010 District Science Congress Aga Khan High School, Mombasa emerged first overall.Science Congress
Aga Khan High School, Mombasa emerged the best overall in the Inter-school Science Congress in the Mombasa District and second overall in the Provincial competitions. In addition, we were fourth overall at the 2009 National Science Congress held in Thika. During the 2010 District Science Congress, held in March, Aga Khan High School, Mombasa emerged first overall.

International Climate Change (ICC)International Climate Change (ICC)
Aga Khan High School, Mombasa was one of the ten schools selected by The British Council and Kenya Wildlife Service to be part of the ICC group in Kenya.  Wilfred Otieno of Form 3 was chosen to represent the Kenyan Youth at the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

DramaThe Choral Verse was awarded five trophies at the National Drama Festival in Kisumu.Drama
The School Drama team prepared for a Choral and a Solo Verse for the 2010 Drama Festival. The Choral Verse was awarded five trophies at the National Drama Festival in Kisumu. In addition, the school participated in the District Drama festival held in Mombasa; our young stars captured first position for choral verse. This item was judged to be the best for décor, costume and production. Our solo verse presentation was placed in second position and the narrative was third overall. In provincial competition, the Choral Verse emerged first overall.

SwimmingSwimming
The school has a very strong swimming team. Abdul Majid Ahmed represented the Country at the South African Championships in March, 2010 and won six medals in total: one gold medal, two silver medals and three bronze medals. Three student, namely, Abdulmajid, Ali Abeid and John Ndugu,won several medals and trophies in various swimming competitions held in March/April, 2010.

Wildlife
Students of the Wildlife Club took part in the Recomap (Integrated Coastal Zones Management) Essay Writing Competition. One of our student, Misbah Gulamhussein, won first prize: a desk-top computer and a trophy. Additionally, the school was rewarded with library books.
