Curriculum
The Aga Khan High School , Mombasa offers
the Kenya National Curriculum (8-4-4). At
the end of this four-year-long course, students
sit for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary
Education (KCSE) Examination, which qualifies
them for university education.
The School offers a broad-based, multidisciplinary
education with an emphasis in languages, sciences,
humanities, technical subjects. It fosters
student-centred learning within an interactive
learning environment designed to stimulate
the joy of enquiry.
Extra Curricular Activities
Besides normal academic learning,
students at the Aga Khan High School are provided
with a vast array of extracurricular activities,
including debating, drama, elocution, music,
sports, ranger guides, scouting, Young Farmers’
club, first aid, Interaction club, the Presidents
Awards Scheme. Additional activities are organised
through inter-house, inter-school and national
competitions.
