Achivements
The school has continued to strengthen its performance in KCSE national examinations. In 2007, the school ranked in the top 20 private schools in Nairobi, and in 2008, when many schools showed a down-turn in results, the Aga Khan High School held its mean at 6.5. One student obtained an A plain and two students received an A- average in the KCSE examinations.

In March 2009, two students - Daniel Nyamweya of IGCSE Grade 10 and Tevin Muigai of Grade 9 - from the Aga Khan High School Nairobi were selected to represent Kenya in the Junior Africa swimming competition held in South Africa in April 2009.

Handball
Handball has been the game of the Aga Khan High School. In 2006, the school made it to the East African regional finals in Kampala, and in 2009 made it to the Nairobi Province semi-finals.
