Entry to the Aga Khan High School Nairobi is offered regardless of background. Admission is competitive, and based on merit.
Admissions to Form 1 in KCPE are open to students that have earned 300 marks and above in KCPE - an interview may also be conducted to assess the students ability and fit to the schools values.
Conditional admissions can be offered to students based on their KCPE mock examination results and an interview.
Prospective students are requested to contact the school for an application form.
Admission to Grade 9 of IGCSE are open to:
- KCPE graduates from the previous December only with a mean score of 320 and above
- Transfers from other schools with an IGCSE program require a mean grade of B- or higher
- Transfers from KCSE school from Form 1 into Grade 9, Form 2 into Grade 10 who show a B- grade or higher and who pass the entrance examination into the IGCSE at the Aga Khan High School, along with an entrance interview.
Transfers from other schools are required to have a minimum B- average from their current school, with no D or E grades, and a clean certificate of conduct from their current school.
Conditional admission may be offered to students based on mock KCPE scores. Students offered conditional admission must meet the required KCPE mean score of 300 for KCSE and 320 for IGCSE.
In rare situations, students may be given conditional admission with the condition that they show a B- average within a term of their stay at the Aga Khan High School.
