Achievements
June 23rd, 2007
LAMDA (London School of Music and Dramatic Arts) classes came to an end with all participating students performing exceptionally well. All students graduated with merits and distinctions.
July 2nd, 2007
the current Monkeynastix students all graduated. The program is a movement education programme where children are encouraged to explore and discover the world through their senses and their bodies.
Awards
The Nursery School’s Taekwondo team recently participated in an open taekwondo tournament held on June 23, 2007. A total of eight medals were brought home; 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze.
In Football, the school team took 3 rd place in a competitive tournament held on June 8, 2007.
At this year’s Annual Poetry Competition, Nursery School students won 3 trophies. Students were assessed based on correct facial expressions, pronunciation and voice intonation.
Each year, the Giraffe Centre holds a national environmental competition. Students nationwide enter their artwork in the competition for evaluation, assessment and awarding of marks. This year’s theme was based on the savannah and our school won the national award for ‘Best Kindergarten Overall’.
Individually, three of our students took home 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively and 4 students took up the runner’s up positions.
