Q: Is the Aga Khan School a religious school?
A: No. In fact, the School is non-denominational. Children from a variety of religious backgrounds and nationalities are welcome. Admission is based on merit.

Q: Why study at an Aga Khan School?
A: The School provides not only state-of-the-art facilities and equipment but also a child-centered approach to education that combines national and international best practices in education.

Q: After successfully completing their studies, where do your students go?
A: Graduates may study at universities in Osh in the Kyrgyz Republic and eventually at the upcoming University of Central Asia, which will have a campus in Khorog, Tajikistan. Also, the School prepares its graduates for access to institutions worldwide.

Q: Do you provide textbooks?
A: Yes, the school provides all textbooks.

Q: Do you provide canteen services?
A: Yes, a privately managed company provides hot meals in the cafeteria.

Q: What if we cannot afford to pay my child's school fees?

Q: Are there classes conducted on Saturdays?
A: There are no lessons on Saturdays. However, teachers are often in the School for professional development and other activities.

Q: What is the difference between the School and other state schools?
A: The School enriches the curricula in the following areas: the languages, Math, Sciences, Information Technology and the Fine Arts. The School's language classes are split in to smaller groups with more resources allocated to these subjects. In some cases, more periods of instruction are conducted. Occasionally, co-curricular time is used to provide additional lessons.
