The Aga Khan Education Service, Kyrgyz Republic began its operations under the auspices of the Aga Khan Education Fund in 1997. In 2000, the Service began constructing a purpose-built school to serve as a regional academic Centre of Excellence. It plans to expand collaborative activities with more schools in the public sector and to consider initiatives in the Osh Oblast districts.
