This is a picture of a farmer in my village.
The name of my village is Yasin. The place is freezing
cold in winter. And the villagers are fond of tea. He
is enjoying a cup of tea with cultural bread “Phiti”.
It is special bread from the North of Pakistan. And everyone
takes so many cups of tea a day.

The poem “the conference of the birds”
inspired me so much.
I have made a painting of imaginary bird of hawk. I love
the quote the inspiring lines:
“And
welcome, hawk! Your flight is high and proud
But you, return with head politely bowed …
Out soar both this world and the next and there
Released from both, take off the hood you wear”
The whole poem is quite powerful and the images in
the poem have helped me to draw this painting.

events in my area. I am from Nultar. My valley is covered
with snow in winter. There are tracks made for skiing.
I imagine someone skiing on one of the tracks, which I
have painted.
