Q: What is your admission policy?
A: The School admits students at grade 8 and 11 levels. Initially a written exam testing a student's grasp of concepts is administered. This is followed by an interview. The weighting of the test and interview is 80:20. Any male student who has passed grade 7 or 8 from any recognized school and is 15 years old can apply for admission in grade 8. A student who is 18 years and has passed matriculation (Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent) with 55 percent marks from a recognized board can apply for admission in pre-medical and pre-engineering at Higher Secondary level. 50% marks are the minimum required for admission in commerce.

A: For Secondary (SSC) and the Higher Secondary (HSSC) Certificate examinations, the school is affiliated with Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB).

A: The school follows national curriculum in all grades.
Q: What are the aims and objectives of grade 8th curriculum?
A: Grade 8th curriculum aims to lay a very strong foundation in the core subject areas of Science, Mathematics and English Language. During this year the teachers focus on building the conceptual understanding of the students. Critical thinking skill development is the key purpose of grade 8 curriculum. Also Islamiat, Urdu and Social Studies are included as compulsory subjects.
Q: What are the subject options for the students at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level?
A: At the Secondary level the school offers science stream while at Higher Secondary level there are three options: Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and Commerce.

A: We feel that the school is doing a commendable job in terms of providing quality education to the students of Northern Areas and Chitral. The merit positions in the examinations and excellent GPAs make our school a favorite one in board examinations. Furthermore, our alumni are now making it to enter prestigious schools, colleges and universities in the country and abroad. All of these indicators suggest that we are amongst the best in the country.
Q: What co- curricular opportunities are provided at the school?
A: There are different clubs and societies in the school. The main function of these clubs and societies is to develop leadership skills amongst the students. The students represent the school in various competitions at the regional and national level.
Q: How many students are studying at your school?
A: The school has a total student population of 560male students in Grades 8 to 12.
Q: Do you have qualified staff?
A: Our teaching staff is highly qualified and dedicated. All faculty members have postgraduate qualifications (masters and above) in their relevant subject areas. School administration staff is qualified according to their job requirements and specifications. There are 21 teaching and 15 non-teaching staff members in the school.
Q: What is the medium of instruction?
A: English is the medium of instruction.
Q: Does the school give any scholarships/ financial assistance to students?
A: In limited numbers, the school subsidizes school fee to students who are bright but who cannot afford the full school fee. Also, there is a limited number of scholarships available for the bright students.
