Placement Test
The objectives of the placement test include:
- Finding out the candidate’s level
of understanding of basic concepts
- Determining the candidate's potential
for further education
- Examining the candidate’s analytical
and mathematical abilities
- Exploring the candidate’s linguistic
competencies in English and Urdu
- Finding out the candidate’s
ability to organise and present information
about himself and his immediate surroundings
- Ascertaining a candidate’s level
of knowledge about his extended environment.
Test Structure
Written test to interview ratio is 70:30. Duration of written test is 2 hours
and thirty minutes. The test paper is divided into five sections. The weighting
of each subject is as follows:
- English - 15 percent
- Urdu - 10 percent
- Mathematics/IQ - 25 percent
- General Science - 25 percent
- General Knowledge - 5 percent
GRADE 11 (First year intermediate)

for further education
- Exploring the candidate’s
linguistic competencies in English and
Urdu
- Finding out the candidate’s
ability to organise and present information
about himself and his immediate surroundings.
Test Structure

structured in three categories, covering
the Pre-engineering, Pre-medical and Commerce
disciplines separately. A candidate can
sit for the test in one of the three discipline:
