Eligibility Criteria
Students, both male and female, are
eligible for admission to HSC Part-I (Class XI)
if they have passed, or they expect to pass, SSC
or equivalent annual examination in 2005 from
any recognized Board or University with a minimum
aggregate of 65 percent marks in Science Group
and a minimum aggregate of 60 percent marks in
General Group.
Prospective students should note that:
Candidates with SSC General Group are NOT eligible
to apply for admission in Science Group (Pre-Engineering
and Pre-Medical).
Candidates who have studied Computer Studies in
lieu of Biology in SSC or its equivalent examination
are NOT eligible to apply for admission in Pre-Medical
Group.
As prescribed by the Board of Intermediate Education,
Karachi, the School offers the following groups:
Pre-Engineering
For students who have taken Science Group
in SSC or its equivalent examination.
Pre-Medical
For students who have taken Science Group
with Biology in SSC or its equivalent examination.
Commerce
For students who have taken Science or General
Group in SSC or its equivalent examination.
Provisional admission is given on the basis of
merit determined through the candidate’s
result of SSC Part-I or its equivalent examination,
an admission test and interview.
After the declaration of annual results of 2005
by the Board or University, provisional admission
is confirmed and regularized for candidates who
have secured a minimum of 65 percent aggregate
marks in Science Group and 60 percent aggregate
marks in General Group examinations.
An attested photocopy of the SSC marks sheet or
its equivalent (annual) examination of 2005 should
be submitted to School Admission Office within
15 days of the declaration of results by the Board
or University. Failure to comply will result in
cancellation of provisional admission.
Following the declaration of SSC or equivalent
examination (annual) results of 2003 by the Board
or University, provisional admission will be confirmed
and regularized for those candidates who have
secured a minimum aggregate of 65 percent in Science
Group or a minimum aggregate of 60 percent marks
in General Group in their examinations.
In all matters pertaining to selection of students,
fees, evaluation of scholastic performance, discipline
and student affairs, decision of the school shall
be final.
