PrISM focuses on the Personal (Pr), Intellectual (I), Social (S) and Moral (M) development of students. It also develops students' capabilities in reflecting critically on moral and social issues related to their lives. It further enhances the skills for decision making, develops self-confidence, teaches how to take charge of their own lives and works effectively as a proactive member of the society.
PrISM includes two models of teaching, i.e. Inclusive and Exclusive. In Inclusive model, the aspects of student development are integrated with the existing national curriculum, while Exclusive model deals with specially designed sessions. In these focused sessions, articles and extracts on prevailing issues are shared and discussed for general awareness. Also, sessions are held to discuss national and international politics, global issues and current affairs.
