Library
The spacious, well-equipped and up-to-date AKHSS library is the centre of academic and intellectual development for faculty and students. There are 5000 books and journals on Science, Humanities, Commerce, Management and Religion available.

The video selection includes educational and subject-related movies. The library regularly subscribes to over a dozen national and international periodicals, journals and newspapers.

The computer section provides students with research facilities through free Internet access and CD ROMs.

A Career Corner provides admission information to local, national and international institutions and resources on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) I & II and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Computer Laboratories
AKHSS has a state-of-the-art computer lab that can accommodate fifty students. The School faculty uses multimedia for classroom presentations, accesses the Internet and uses the latest interactive software to enhance and upgrade their knowledge and competencies.

Botanical Garden
The School has a botanical garden, green house and pond for students to observe different plants, flowers and fishes species, many of which are often only seen in books. This facilitates the teaching and learning process while adding colour and beauty to the campus.

Laboratories
The School's Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany laboratories are well equipped and maintained. Besides routine practical lessons, students use them for research projects. Trained laboratory staff provide regular guidance and ensure security measures are taken.

Student Health Service
A full-time registered nurse provides first aid treatment, conducts health classes and maintains students' health records. Students are counseled regularly and in some cases the nurse meets parents to discuss their child's health.

Sports Facilities
Students are encouraged to pursue sports activities. Facilities include cricket, football grounds and separate volleyball and basketball courts. Athletics and swimming is encouraged and both the Boys and Girls Common Rooms have table tennis facilities. During the week, a qualified physical training instructor supervises physical training as part of the school sports curriculum.

Canteen
Open daily, the School canteen offers a variety of hygienic food and snacks at reasonable prices.
