Rain is gift from God. We use umbrella in rain. I like rain a lot that is why I have selected this topic for my painting. Also, there is very little rain in Karachi, so I miss rain a lot.

My idea is that the world is made up of water. Even a drop of water has life. The earth itself has lot of water and without water even earth cannot survive. The earth has three parts of water and one part land. Water is essential for life - we cannot survive without it.

This painting shows the importance of water. I have tried to show contrast between life with and without water. The difference is shown by dividing a tree into two halves; one with water and the other without. The dry part shows what happens if there is no water. And the wet part tells us that if there is water the surface is green and fresh which shows that life exists. It also shows that water is important not only for humans but all the living organisms.
