This School covers 9171 square metres and features 12 purpose-built laboratories and 30 classrooms, including:

  • Two computer labs with 25 computers each
  • A Learning Resources Centre (LRC)
  • A cafeteria with a seating capacity of 200
  • A gymnasium with international standard basketball and volleyball court.

Learning Resource Centre (LRC)
The LRC has 22 000 items in its collection. The library is being streamlined and revamped with new materials, equipment and furniture. To improve circulation and inventory, an automated system is being set up with the aim of transforming the traditional library into an active learning facility.

The Learning Resources Centre is also designed to be an active learning environment complementing classroom instruction, an independent study and research area, a recreational reading place and a locus for developing materials.

Computer Laboratories
A modern network links all computers in the school. This network allows staff, students and administrators to access curriculum information, the Internet and the Library catalogue from their workstations.

Internet access in Khorog is currently restricted, so only four School computers are Internet-ready. These computers, situated in the LRC, staff room, Professional Development office and computer room, are available to all staff and students.
