Welcome to the Aga Khan Education Service, Tanzania website. 
I hope you find in these pages a real sense of the special nature of our schools.  The Aga Khan Nursery, Primary and Secondary School in Dar es Salaam and the Aga Khan Nursery in Mwanza each have their own unique features, but what they all share is a deep-rooted commitment to educating the whole child. 

Our vision for our students when they graduate and leave us is that they can go out into the world as happy, healthy, self-confident individuals who have real choices about their futures.  We aim to give our students life choices, not just employment choices.

From nursery onwards we aim to develop in our students an openness to new ideas and people from beyond their own culture and community.  We are committed to His Highness the Aga Khan’s goal of nurturing young people to thrive in a pluralist society where diversity is accepted and viewed as an exciting and valuable part of the world in which we all live.

Our students should leave us with the ability to think critically and to challenge ideas and information.  They will have had the experience of studying in an environment where integrity and ethical conduct are a natural part of how we all live and work together and we expect that this will shape their own futures.
