Lower School
Education in the Lower School marks the transition from a class teacher organisation of learning at primary school to a stage where students are all taught by subject specialists. However, the important contact between parents, teachers and students is retained through the Form Tutor.
Students are encouraged to become more independent and self-aware.International route
Students on the international route are introduced to a wide range of subjects and studies. This gives them the basis for the Option Choices they will make when they move to Year 10. They are encouraged to become more independent and self-aware and teachers help them to learn and think for themselves. There is a focus on developing skills, understanding and questioning knowledge, problem-solving and interpreting information. Our aim is to lay the foundations for academic success at IGCSE and beyond.

National Route
Students on the national route follow the Ministry of Education prescribed subjects in Forms 1 and 2. At the end of Form 2 they sit for the National Form 2 examinations. In addition, all students follow a programme of physical education and personal, social and health education (PSHE).
