online resources. Three professional staff supports
the students’

Computer Laboratories
Computer education is part of the school
curriculum and is compulsory for Form I - II
and Grades 8 and 9 students. It is optional
for Form III and IV students. Students are examined
at Form II and IV levels and have traditionally
excelled in the Tanzanian National Examinations.
Students can access a fully established networked
lab with 24-hour access to the Internet, supported
by an IT Department. Students have access to
the Internet through a Broadband connection
for project research and keeping with touch with
latest world events.
Medical Services
The school has a resident full-time qualified
nurse who takes care of minor health problems
and keeps student health records. All students
undergo a full health check-up as part of the
School’s Annual Medical Programme, records
of which are kept by the school matron. In cases
of emergency, government, private and the Aga
Khan, hospitals are in close proximity.
Science Laboratories
The school has six well-equipped science laboratories
(two each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology experiments).
Swimming Pool
Though the School does not have an in-house pool,
swimming is compulsory. It is important for all
students to learn how to swim. With this objective
in mind qualified instructors conduct swimming
lessons at a nearby swimming school. On Tuesdays,
male instructors conduct lessons for boys and
lady instructors conduct lessons for girls on
Thursdays.
Canteen
The School’s canteen offers snacks and soft
drinks at nominal prices during break-time. Food
quality and costs are closely monitored by the
school administration. As a safety measure, students
are disallowed from buying food or drinks from
outside the school premises.
