Thank you for choosing to enquire about the Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School (AKMSS). We are proud to say that what we are able to offer your child during these important years will not only challenge them academically but also enrich them well-beyond the classroom.
AKMSS is a dual curriculum school which offers two routes to academic success, the international curriculum route which leads to the IGCSE examinations and then on to the IB Diploma programme, and the national curriculum route which leads to NECTA ‘O’ levels and ‘A’ levels.
The choice of which route to follow is entirely up to parents and their children. Whichever route you choose, at the heart of our educational philosophy is the belief that every student matters and all our students should have the educational opportunities to become knowledgeable, responsible and articulate global citizens of tomorrow.
Our school strives to create a harmonious balance between academic demands, sporting and cultural activities and community life. We encourage students to be intellectually inquisitive and socially conscious.
