A great school,
"will educate its students not merely to be personally successful but also to use their gifts to build their communities and enhance the common good to levels beyond our dreams."

Teachers and Classroom Support

The Nursery school has nine classrooms.  We provide a high ratio of classroom staff per child.  In every classroom with approximately 25-30 children there is a teacher, learning support assistant and a classroom helper.  These three adults ensure that the learning and the welfare of all the children is supported to the highest standard.

The role of the teacher is to;

  • provide a high quality learning environment
  • facilitate and enhance children’s learning
  • provide a safe and caring environment
  • be responsive to the needs and interests of the child
  • understand the family is the most influential educator of their child

The Teachers and staff are committed to their role and work hard to achieve our shared goals. Our staff form a collaborative and closely-knit team which consists of highly-experienced and qualified members. Our staff members participate in up-to date professional development on a regular basis.
