Poetry and drawing competition

The European Union Delegation in Tanzania sponsored an inter-school competition (drawing, poetry, writing of an article or short story, or re-telling a traditional story) for children wishing to express their vision of "Together in Diversity" to mark the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.
Uzma Vellani, grade 4, won the prize for the Best Poem in the 7-10 year old category and Doreen Itabi, grade 4 won the prize for the Best Drawing in the 7-10 year old category.
