Nurturing responsible students
The School encourages students to be responsible
at a young age.
Prefects are school leaders and student role models
who guide, counsel and correct students, helping
to develop positive behaviour and values. Every
June, students, staff and the Headmaster appoint
the leadership team. They are led by a Head Prefect
and two Deputies and their service lasts for a
year.
The Student Council also promotes student leadership
and involvement in school affairs. The Council
consists of two teachers, two prefects and a representative
from each class. A Chairman and Secretary are
appointed from this group.
They meet to exchange ideas and address issues
that genuinely concern the entire school community.
Council recommendations are given to the Headmaster
for consideration and feedback.
