Teacher Recruitment
The School, with support from the Aga Khan Education Service, Uganda, is strongly committed to promoting and enhancing quality education. Teachers are carefully selected from highly reputable education centres based on experience, commitment and enthusiasm. The School has careful hiring practices in place to screen and identify teachers. It also has a vigorous training programme for the teaching staff.
Professional Development
On-going staff professional development for School teachers is an integral part of the Aga Khan Development Network philosophy. Annually, all staff undergo training before each academic year. On a regular basis, staff - individually or with institutional support - pursue further training in child education. As part of the outreach program, staff conduct workshops for local school educators to improve the quality of their nursery programmes.
