Introduction

The Aga Khan School, Madaklasht is over three decades old. It started in 1980 as a primary school with only 54 students and a single teacher, situated in a house. In 1985, it was upgraded to a middle school, and in 2002, to a community high school. It has been an AKES,P high school since 2015 and 2019 it was converted in to a k-12 school.

The school serves over 400 students, 45% of which are female. English is the medium of instruction and the school teaches pre-primary through high. There are 19 teachers present, and the building boasts a total of 11 classrooms.

The school teaches an enhanced version of the national curriculum, and is affiliated with the Aga Khan University Education Board.

The school offers professional development to all its staff, taking place once a month for 6 hours each, totalling 72 hours per year.

Admissions

New admissions take place in March and April every year.

For the admission process, we require:

  • Form B or birth certificate
  • Previous school's reports and certificates, where applicable
  • Admission application form
  • Parents' / guardian's CNIC
