By deploying a common standard and by adopting the best international and contemporary teaching and learning methodologies, as well as educational leadership philosophies, Aga Khan schools in Kenya are expected to reinforce their reputation as top performers nationally and internationally.
The Aga Khan Education Service in Kenya operates schools in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret. It provides nursery to senior secondary education in both the national and international curricula.
The Service works closely with the government education sector by way of School Improvement Programmes (SIPs). Funded through the Aga Khan Foundation and international donor agencies, these programmes have benefitted more than 200 schools in Kenya's western and coastal provinces, improving the quality of teaching in government primary schools.
