Embracing the spirit of the day, dedicated to eradicating hunger and ensuring healthy diets globally, the students launched an awareness campaign centred on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger.

By visiting a government school and Dar ul Sakoon, a care home for physically and mentally disabled individuals from unique socio-economic backgrounds, the students understood how to be changemakers through small acts of kindness and to have compassion for people.

The head teacher of the government school praised the young champions for their attitude to change.

“Your visit and thoughtful gifts of fresh fruits filled our school with joy and hope,” they said. “You've shown us the power of kindness in action."

Students at the government school also expressed their views on this initiative.

“You've inspired us and reminded us that caring for others is the greatest gift of all," one student said.

The students’ initiative exemplified the potential for positive change within our communities.

"Your visit meant the world to us,” said a staff member at the Dar ul Sakoon. “Your thoughtfulness will linger in our hearts long after today. Thank you for sharing your warmth and compassion."
